What is the most popular pickup truck model in the US market? You may think of Ford and GM's pickup trucks, but surprisingly, Toyota's Tacoma tops the list. In the past, this tachoma made headlines for traveling a million kilometers. It's even more popular because it's incredibly durable. It is said that such a tacoma was newly released with a hybrid engine.

The new 2024 Tacoma was designed and developed in North America. Under the theme of Badass Adventure Machine, it presents a hot and tough charm with a cheerful driving sense. While it has a design almost similar to the tundra, a large pickup model in Toyota, the newly released 2024 Tacoma has a smaller grill and a slimmer headlight, giving it a sharper and nimble impression. The side ratio is the typical ratio of the pickup truck we know, and it's well positioned and has its own unique charm. The roof is designed for easy installation of the roof rack, and the rear side is designed to be a combination of tailgate and spoilers, giving it a sporty look. In addition, the step rear bumper is applied to further enhance convenience by allowing you to step on it.
Convenience specification
The 2024 Toyota Tacoma is said to offer a total of eight trims, including the new Hunter trim. Details are expected to be announced as the release date approaches. Currently, it is known that the SR of the entry trim contains a set of LED headlights and 17-inch steel wheels, and the SR5 trim changes to an alloy wheel. And the TRD trim that everyone is looking forward to will be loaded with front lifters and all terrain tires. The TRD trim also features an 18-inch black-finished wheel and an off-road-only 33-inch tire. Unlike the sporty TRD, the limited trim, which emphasizes luxury, features chrome decorations and signature headlamps. The interior design is the same as the style influenced by the tundra pickup truck. The steering wheel will be fitted with a redesigned 7" display instrument cluster as standard and 12.3 display instrument cluster in advanced specifications. The central panel is natively equipped with an 8-inch display and optional 14-inch display. It supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay at the same time and offers both smartphone wireless charging and USB charging functions.
Performance
The Tacoma's previous model was a 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine with only 159 horsepower, but the newly released model was upgraded to a 2.4-liter four-cylinder turbo engine that spouts 228 horsepower. Models coupled with an 8-speed auto-mission and equipped with a 2.4-liter Ipos powertrain perform 270 horsepower with a 6-speed manual transmission. The selection of the Ipos powertrain as an auto-mission produces 278 horsepower output. In the case of the i-Force Max power train, the i-Force Max power train, which I mentioned here, is a hybrid engine consisting of a 2.4 liter turbo engine and a 1.87 kWh nickel metal hydrogen battery, which is expected to exert up to 326 horsepower based on eight-speed automation. This hybrid trim is known to be selectable in the TRD trim. The new model will be released with a newly designed frame body. The SR, SR5, TRD pre-runners or trims are equipped with rear leaf springs, but the advanced trim is equipped with a multilink suspension to provide better handling and ride comfort.
Details of the specifications have yet to be disclosed, but the test tachoma is expected to provide 2,948 kilograms of traction. The TRD Sports Trim is literally set up with the suspension to allow sport to run. The TRD trim features a variable suspension adaptive system that allows you to continuously adjust the damping according to road conditions in the previously mentioned high-end trim, to suit sports driving.
The hybrid version of the new 2024 Toyota Tacoma is expected to be released next year, and I'm attracted to a considerable amount of charm as I'm interested in pickup trucks.
